How do you get from here (your current life) to there (the life you desire)? As advisors, we continually encourage our clients to dream big. We know that goal setting and strategic planning need to be an integral part of the services we provide, so we embrace life planning as a core service. At Osborne & Associates, we believe in Values Based Financial Planning, which means that before we give any advice, we first find out what’s important to you, what you value, and what your goals are. So, the first time we get together, we may hardly talk about money at all. Of course, we eventually get to it, but the focus of that first meeting is to understand your values and your goals. By gaining insight into your goals and the values upon which they are based, we help you accomplish something that not many people ever do. Yet, it is such a key step because your goals and values are the foundation, the cornerstone, to all of your planning.
Our approach can be summarized by our mission statement: Committed to helping people make smart choices with their money and honoring God in all we do.
Committed – We are looking for long term relationships with our clients. Obviously, this type of planning is not accomplished in 1 or 2 one-hour meetings. No, it’s developed and implemented over a lifetime. We are committed to that process. In fact, if you were to join our family of clients, our vision would be that your children and grandchildren would be working with advisors in our firm, years down the road.
Helping people make smart choices – We do this by continually educating our clients and communicating, communicating, communicating. We don’t ever want you to feel like you’re in the dark about your money. These are your decisions. Our job is to inform, educate and advise you … to help you make smart choices that are right for you and your family.
Honoring God in all we do – This is a foundational principle that we strive to live by in all aspects of our lives, and especially in how we serve our clients. That means that we put a premium on honesty, integrity, full disclosure, and doing what’s best for you. Beyond that, if honoring God with your finances is also important to you, then you can feel confident that the advice we give you will always be in line with that as well. All of our advisors are Qualified Kingdom Advisors, which means we have been formally trained and certified in biblical financial principles.
